BiX Receives Top Excellence Award at the Ewha Life-Tech Startup Competition

BiX received the Top Excellence Award in the faculty-startup category at the 2025 Ewha Life-Tech Startup Competition. The event was organized to identify university-based technologies with strong potential for commercialization and social impact.

BiX presented its medical AI approach for earlier cancer detection, centered on integrating CT images with clinical information and analyzing relationships among abdominal organs. The platform is intended to identify subtle pre-cancerous and early-stage signals that can be difficult to recognize through conventional single-time-point review.

The award recognized both the clinical relevance of the technology and its potential to develop into a deployable medical product. It also strengthened BiX's connection with Ewha's research and startup ecosystem as the company moved from academic validation toward clinical collaboration and commercialization.
